Experience the practice of Medicine Art Release techniques created to translate your visions into visual artistry. Come as you are, leave it at the easel.

The goal of this workshop is for you to experience the freedom of self-expression through art in a safe inviting place where you can learn helpful artistic techniques. Journey within to find the story that needs to be let out in an artistic form. Use this time as an opportunity to gather with the community to create art that heals you from the inside out.

The workshop will be set in 3 stages.

Stage 1: Settling into intention, learning color and composition, setting up art supplies, and warming up with some drawing exercises.

Stage 2: Using paint and charcoal be guided through art medicine release exercises, journey with a sacred drum and rattle to find your animal totem ally who will journey with you to find the story that you will later translate through art.

Stage 3: Sketch out the story you want to capture from your journey. Decide how to best deliver the message visually. Paint with the community and get support from your art instructor when needed.

Take it home or leave it at the easel.
